A museum built to be used

House of Tablets supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic controls, image descriptions, responsive layouts, adjustable book text, saved reading progress, and browser narration where supported.

Using the experience

• Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move among book chapters, timeline records and filters, source guides, lessons, tablet records, and dialogs.
• The book uses the recorded Cillian narration. Adjust playback speed, pause or resume, move between chapters, and turn “Continue chapters” on for continuous playback. Chapter links from the companion open the matching text.
• The current sentence and paragraph are highlighted during narration; “Follow text” controls automatic scrolling. Your last chapter and preferred book text size are saved on this device.
• Use “Read to me” in timeline records, source guides, lessons, and tablet details for browser speech synthesis. Voice quality and support vary by device.
• Tablet images are accompanied by object labels; artistic reconstructions are explicitly identified.

Copying and downloads

Text selection, copying, image-save menus, and printing are restricted. Search and editable fields still support copying and pasting. Keyboard navigation and narration remain available. For an accessible copy, contact support@trusspath.com.

Known limitations

Cuneiform glyph coverage depends on the fonts installed on your device. Some third-party museum pages and externally hosted images may have different accessibility support. Browser voices approximate scholarly transliterations and do not reproduce an ancient native accent.
